Cherkalka serves as a practical tool for annotating images swiftly without the need to open a bulky notepad. It features a built-in photo editor and an action extension for seamless usability.

The integrated photo editor enables users to annotate photos directly from the Photos app, eliminating the need to switch between applications.

With the action extension, users can conveniently edit images from any compatible app and easily share their modified creations. However, it's important to note that not all programs support this feature, such as the Photos app, requiring users to utilize the photo editor instead.

Cherkalka boasts a range of features, allowing users to draw, erase, adjust pencil width and color, share images, work with photos, save notes for future use, and prevent accidental palm touches when using a stylus.

In addition to these capabilities, the full version offers enhanced functionalities such as resizing notes, adjusting layer positions and rotations, scaling note views, modifying pencil attributes in the editor and extension, syncing notes via iCloud, and excluding the app logo from exported images.
